(Artistry) I wish I had seen you comment before I docked pacing. . .because pacing was off in a number of spots. I thought the lyrics were great, and despite some pacing 'oops' I applaud taking on such a deceivingly hard song and putting up with it for the purposes of writing a parody.

I'd never heard of her, either... fortunately, neither have my children. I couldn't work out whether the OS was supposed to be a homage or a piss-take of High School Musical - a marvellously sucky movie, if ever there was one
Mylie Cirus, daughter of Billy Ray, has her own show. I watch way too much Disney. Even though I have a daughter, I feel shame. An appropriate parody for this song.
Didnt listen to the OS, cause I just cant stand any member of the Cyrus family, but Ill give it 5s anyways. What a coincidence she was born the same year Achy Breaky Heart was a hit.

(Artistry) Completely forgot that I read this before. Odd choice of song to skewer 80's action schlock to, but damn it if it doesn't work. An oldie but a goodie, 555!
I liked how you covered different genres for each chorus...otherwise it probably would have been stretched a little thin. Overall, a pretty solid parody to a song I hopefully never have to hear again haha
