ProudAmerican, what you've just typed is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever read. At no point in your rambling, incoherent parody were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone on the 'net is now dumber having read it. I share the sentiments of everyone else who has commented here. This is nothing more than the pointless, blind, flag-waving rant of a redneck who obviously has no clue how to intelligently counter the views of someone who is of a different political party/belief than him(or her). I'm not a "Dem" as you so ellgenantly put it, nor am I a Republican, as you you are. But if I had to pick a side, it'd be the Democrats. Sure, alot of them support things I don't personally believe in, but still, they sure know alot more about what they're doing than most Republicans. Which isn't to say all Republicans are idiots, just most of the ones in office are. Well, all of them in office are, but still....Next time, please research your topic before you go off on a, as Nine Inch Niles so aptly put it, a "bible-belching, God-smearing, Christ-crunching" tirade like the one you've just displayed. And by the way, "Trade center is going down bringing" has one syllabyle too many. Unless you meant to substitute "trade" for "and" (as in "AND sugar we're going down swinging"). But anyway, I didn't even vote on this. I'll still give you a chance to better yourself as you progress as a parodist, and yes, if you DO happen to write a well-thought out parody about your political views, then perhaps I'll vote on it, if it's good. But until then, this just dosen't cut it.

Linda - the drugs aren't working. Ou est Bin Laden? It's been more than five years, I live in New York City - you rightwing, bible-thumping, anti-New York City hypocrites have done nothing to find the person responsible for the tragedy and have done nothing to make those of us in major (target) cities safer. The man is 7 feet tall, walks the desert in a white sheet, has millions and millions of dollars and carries a cellphone - WHY HASN'T THE MISSION BEEN ACCOMPLISHED?

OK, enough comedy: I wish to God that, when the Republicans held their convention six miles from the World Trade Center site -- or, as I like to call it, the George W. Bush Presidential Library -- the Daily News should've redone their Jerry Ford headline from 1975: BUSH TO CITY: DROP DEAD! That bin Laden hasn't been found and killed is a disgrace. That the World Trade Center hasn't been rebuilt, that they're not even planning rebuild it exactly as it was, only taller, is another disgrace. Face it: As long as Bush is in office, the terrorists have won.
MP - well than you get your facts straight too - it's closer to 3 1/2 miles. By the way, the protests here in NYC were great when the fascists came to town. Anti-Bush goods were selling at a premium. Then the fascists got the NYPD to lock everyone up - we had forgotten that the First Amendment was no longer a right.
