The Lyrics

This song didn't turn out as well as I was hoping but it's just about a man who just can't get to sleep for the life of him. Enjoy!
(Sleep!)
(Oh!)
Woo!
Woo!
Woo!
(Sleep!)
One and to the two,
Two, three, four, five sheep,
Six, seven, and more,
Then I gotta,
Sleep,
One and to the two,
Two, three, four, five sheep,
Six, seven, and more,
Then I gotta,
Sleep,
Then I gotta,
*Snore*,
Then I gotta,
*Snore*,

Sure, this night I can't sleep,
When I came home,
Alone,
I groan,
It's gotta be AM, man, I'm not even fadin', I can't,
(Sleep!),
The sheets are too tight,
The room is too bright,
It's past midnight,
Aw man, I can't,
(Sleep!),
Look, look, my mind's racin',
I start chasin',
Thoughts so fast,
When I want pass,
That I can't,
(Sleep!),
With my teddy by my side,
On my front, on my back, or on either of my sides,
I'd better,
(Sleep),
I might grab some sleeping pills,
Or watch Discovery cover shrimp and krill,
My eyes are red, I want to kill,
Like Seagal do,
The docs couldn't help me if they brought the gasses, too,
I close my eyes,
I know these other sleepy people are sleeping nice,
But I can't help but arise,
Bad for my health,
Will the neighbor kids be quiet?
For oneself,
I want to have a good dream and,
It's got my grabbin' my head,
Because it's hurtin' me, I think I'd rather be dead,
I'm breakin' the curse,
I'd rather I lay in a hearse,
Than lay on my back,
And keep writin' this verse,
My mind's under attack,
I tried hearing some nature tones,
My eyes are startin' to look like I'm chokin' on a chicken bone,
Every yawn I hem,
Can't put me in REM,
So I know that the time is in the AMs,

Sleep,
One and to the two,
Two, three, four, five sheep,
Six, seven, and more,
Then I gotta,
Sleep,
One and to the two,
Two, three, four, five sheep,
Six, seven, and more,
Then I gotta,
Sleep,
One and to the two,
Two, three, four, five sheep,
Six, seven, and more,
Then I gotta,
Sleep,
Then I gotta,
*Snore*,
Then I gotta,
*Snore*,

Sure this night I can't sleep,
When I sit through,
One, two,
It's almost 3:20, man, it's not even funny,
I can't,
(Sleep!),
My mind is too light,
My head is not right,
You know what? You're right,
This night I can't,
(Sleep!),
Look, look, my sweat's racin',
I start tracin',
In my head,
In my bed,
I can't,
(Sleep!),
In the silence of the night,
Or in the noise of the radio, I just cannot get this right,
I'd better,
(Sleep!),
I'm the house that the burglar passes,
I'm layin' on my back like I'm needin' oxygen mask-es,
I make it hard to,
(Sleep!),
I'm keepin' Tylenol in the caches,
If these winks want to knock and harass us,
I make it hard to,
(Sleep!),
I have to lay back,
Like a hyper baby on crack,
When I see the means to attack,
I'm thinkin' if there's a reason behind this,
If I have some inner bleeding or even a guilty conscience,
It's beginning to annoy, I've already had enough,
I'm a tired little boy layin' up here on my butt,
I'm dressed in pajamas,
Cryin' for my mama,
And havin' cold sweats like in the Bahamas,
I shook up and hooked up the new IV,
Just anything to get me a moment of sleep,
A breath of fresh air in the covers,
Face it, boo, I could do it "till my face get blue,
And then,

(Sleep!)
One and to the two,
Two, three, four, five sheep,
Six, seven, and more,
Then I gotta,
Sleep,
One and to the two,
Two, three, four, five sheep,
Six, seven, and more,
Then I gotta,
Sleep,
One and to the two,
Two, three, four, five sheep,
Six, seven, and more,
Then I gotta,
Sleep,
Then I gotta,
*Snore*,
Then I gotta,
*Snore*,

Sure, this night I can't,
(Sleep!),
When my dreams walked out,
And my head hurts deep all throughout,
I've got a divine pain that is more than anti-devout,
Catch a dream "fore I catch a scheme,
To get to sleep,
Even worse, I can't even think,
But just maybe,
Singin' ABCs,
Go grab a baby,
Fake death and feign free,
And run off and take shelter in KB,
It's growing on me,
They're gonna have to put the big yawns on me,
What you know about catchin' Zs?
I'll cry and you'll see,
That it won't stop "till ye,
Find a bed for me,
Like a "clinin', fiber, Swedish free,
I'm not catchin' any breeze,
Until I can finally get to,

(Sleep!)
Seattle gotta,
Orange County gotta,
Kyoto gotta,
Albuquerque gotta,
(Sleep!),
Atlantis gotta,
Then Mars gotta,
Death Stars gotta,
And then I gotta,
Sleep,
One and to the two,
Two, three, four, five sheep,
Six, seven, and more,
Then I gotta,
(Sleep!),
Then I gotta,
Then I gotta,
Sleep.
Speaking of which, I got to bed at 5 AM this morning and had to wake up at 6...I might just follow the theme of the song myself...
