This is not only irresponsible tripe, it's also ignorance defined. The USA has lost every military engagement that resembles the Iraq conflict, and there is little doubt that it is losing in Iraq. Vietnam, of course, is the primary comparison. The US famously "won every single battle but lost the war" because you simply cannot defeat a puopular insurgency with military might. Somalia is another example. Afghanistan is a third. The USA may have defeated the Taliban militarily, but their patience will wear thin and insurgent attacks are taking their toll there too. It just doesn't make the news because there are less US troops on the ground to hit. I also think people will take offense at the 'nuke' comment. Nuke Iraq? Great. Kill a hundred thousand innocent people to punish a few. Give these people every justification to hate and carry out more deadly terror attacks on the US in the future. You need your head examined mate.

Wow, sorry for giving an opinion, MATE. You know, I don't like this war going on any more than you or any other American for that matter. And no, I don't believe that we should nuke Iraq. Dude, that would probably be the dumbest thing that we could possibly do. I am not emphasizing that all of the people in Iraq are evil and that they should all die. If you must know, the news lately has been making me quite disturbed, both on the American's side and Iraqs side. I know that if we act hastily on what has happened, nothing good will come of it. I did not base this parody on how I wish for the war to end. I merely wrote it because it flowed with the song quite well, in my opinion. SO cut me some slack, MATE.

You call this parody ingorant tripe, yet you liberals always allude to Vietnam, Somalia, and Afganistan to "prove" your point. We didn't know what we were fighting for in Vietnam. Somalia was a result of lack of firepower and poor planning. And Afganistan, like Iraq, is still going on. Unless you count the first Afgan War between Afganistan and the old Soviet Union, Lawrence, you really can't judge opinions.

We swept through their whole D*MN country in less than 5 months. And how can you compare Vietnam to Iraq. Vietnam was a pointless war that lasted 20 yrs. If anything we did Iraq a favor by getting those brutal animals out of that country, including Sadam "Insane". This so called Sadam was performing a genocide. But some are still there just as we are. 90% of the Iraq's praised us as we entered their country, and trust me I would know because I have 5 family relatives that were stationed there. PS: Oh, and BritishBomber, I think you might be confusing the Taliban with Al Queda. The Taliban was the government and the military of Afghanistan, al Quaeda is the terrorist group. The Taliban has never attacked anyone, anywhere outside of Afghsnistan. Also, the Iraqis praised you because they didn't know any better. They just knew Saddam was gone. They had no idea what would replace him. They know now that what they will have is no better. They see mounting casualties (we make must of the 800 American casualties and very little about the 20,000 iraqi dead and many, many, many more injured) and lowered standard of living and prison abuses and bombing of mosques (intentional or not) and occupation and lack of respect for holy sites and giving their oil and other national assets to american corporations and they see that the Great America is not so great after all.
