The song's about the preciousness of corkhats and life out in Australia. It's based on the true story of when we tried to dye our corkhats green but the corks rotted and fell off. As a fellow Australian I am appalled that you riddle this work with such stereotypical phrases as 'sheila', 'dinkum' and product placement of VB and Vegemite that have stained our reputation since Crocodile Dundee! Hate to break it to you mate, but we are Australian and bloody proud. So if you're gonna be so bloody rude to us just for being proud of our heritage, please bugger off and do it elsewhere.
