The Lyrics

This parody is based on the "Rocky & Bullwinkle Show"...the cartoon series from WAAAYYY back in the 60's that was so very clever and funny...and worked on both the kid's AND Adult levels...not the STUPEED and ANNOYING Movie made more recently...Yes, I am taking BEEG Lee-bertees with the spelling and grammar in the written lyrics here in an attempt to simulate the accents of Boris Badonov & Nastasha Nogoodnik...

{uh-Ooh-Ooh, uh-Ooh-Ooh, uh-Ooh-Ooh-Ooh}
{uh-Ooh-Ooh, uh-Ooh-Ooh, uh-Ooh-Ooh-Ooh}
{Ooh-Ooh-Ooh, Ooh-Ooh-Ooh-Ooh}
{damn that flying squirrel}
{damn that squirrel}
{uh-Ooh-Ooh, uh-Ooh-Ooh, uh-Ooh-Ooh-Ooh}
{uh-Ooh-Ooh, uh-Ooh-Ooh, uh-Ooh-Ooh-Ooh}
{Ooh-Ooh-Ooh, Ooh-Ooh-Ooh, Ooh-Ooh-Ooh-Ooh}

Squirrel ees always flying; makes me mad
always foils my plans
With friend stupeed moose it always seems...
...They always cause my plots - to fall apart
Seems they're always een my way
I weesh they would stop foiling my schemes
When I sleep at night they're in my dreams
ees sometimes so frus-trat-ing; I throw a tan-trum {Ooh!}

That damn flying squirrel; hee - always annoys
With friend stupeed moose they foil all of my ploys
Always they are dees-rupting my plans
ees making mee very irritable

Make plot weeth Natasha; seems al-right
Seems eet always fail next day
I'm pulling my hair - and then I scream
Damn med-del-ing squirrel's frustrating mee
Nastasha ees nagging mee; my teeth - I'm grit-ting

That damn flying squirrel and - stupeed friend moose
Seems every time that I - always luuse
how come they are always defeeting mee
Now I am een much beeg trouble

Fearless leeder called mee een today
He said, "You fail - get sent away"
I squirm; got notheeng to say
Then say, "I try"; hee wave me 'way
Hee say that eef I fail theese time
If I leeve weell regret my plight
Hee say, "Get out of my sight"
I say, "bye-bye, thees time I do eet right
Thees time I do eet right; you see" {"You see"}

Natasha's yelling at mee as wee fight
"You silly, stupeed clown"
She's calling mee names from "A" to "Z"
I stand there weeth my mouth shut
Temper starts to grow; she is een my face
I say, "You shut up, now, beetch, you see"
Nastasha ees glowering now at mee
"You putz, look at thee poe-seeth-shun wee are een now"

That damn flying squirrel hee always annoys
Always dee-railing all of my ploys
Hole-lee Toe-leedo! Eet seems I am damned!
Ees making mee very irr'table

Theenk I am good spy; but now I sigh
'cause Fearless Leeder may have mee confined
That damn flying squirrel and stupeed friend moose
Always they're keeking on my caboose

That damn flying, squirrel, Ooh!
Damn moose and that squirrel
That damn moose and squirrel
Hokey-smokes - Ooh!
that damn flyng squirrel, Ooh!
damn moose and that squirrel
That damn moose and squirrel
Ees no joke - No!
Damn squirrel that flies
across the skies
my patience trys
and I sit and sigh
..I start to cry
Hate that damn flying squirrel
Ooh, Ooh-Ooh-Ooh-Ooh
Ooh-Ooh-Ooh-Ooh
Damn!

Still DK your OS's, but I moose say, very clever to write from BB's POV (and no apologies on spelling; great job!). 555

LIke AIR, "R&B" show was full of puns that could easily be missed, not only by kids, but by inattentive adults, e.g. always wondered how many got "Badenov"-"Gudunov"????

Man, I was SURE I submitted a really witty response...but I must not have clicked "Submit"...man, you all would have been rolling in hysterical laughter...take my word for it...BUT...I musta furgot to click that durned button...ANYWAY...thanks for stopping by - glad you were entertained...you know, when I'm not consciously trying to offend folks right and left (mostly "right" these days), I like to post 'funny' stuff...BTW - the OS here is a real great sounding piece of work, if you've a mind to check it out...Yeah, I loved "Rocky & Bullwinkle" (originally titled "Rocky, The Flying Squirrel" I believe..." Bullwinkle didn't originally have billing as the 2nd lead...musta got a better agent or something)...alvin...I always liked that line in the show...Tommy T - not to self-promote or anything (that's a lie, and a very, very transparent one to boot), but I have several pieces written from Boris Badenov's POV...let's see...the Beatles "Girl" became "Damn Squirrel" (I think that's the title I used), and there was another one, I think...(can't recall it now, though...hey, maybe I can trick folks into looking at my "Author's Page" with that ploy...umm...Naw, they won't fall for that...no way...)...hmmm...maybe it was just THAT one and THIS one...??? WELL, anyway - Thanks!

OK...I HAD to look it up...the Beatles "Girl" actually became "Moose & Squirrel" and the OTHER one...(yup, there WAS another one) was the Temptions "My Girl", and THAT became "Damn Squirrel"...

"If ya kin do it, it ain't braggin'" -- Good Ol' Boy saying.
"If ya kin do it that well, it ain't pluggin' (or, at least, is not only forgivable but desirable.) - TT.
Saw both cited works and left comments/Fives.
Paul, this n00b had no clue about your "Rocky I, II, III, IV", etc., and thanks for clueing him in.

If Am I Right were to make "the Best of" squirrel parody compilation album, this would surely be on it. I think people would nuts for such an album. And I know for a fact that they wouldn't bury them in their front yards. AM I Right? 5's my friend.

DKTOS and never watched it, but still found this really funny.

TT - Thank you much, I was beginning to show some early signs of 'Adulation Deficiency.Syndrome'...HAR...Lionel, I am (semi) constantly on the lookout for more "Moose/Squirrel/Boris/Natash-able" material...if I run across any more you will surely see them here....Larry, thanks! I wonder if "Rocky & Bullwinkle" are being aired anywhere on TV now? Maybe some Cable Network? (I don't get Cable anymore, so I can't answer that...) - I think it would hold up pretty well today for the most part...
