The Lyrics

Shortly after 9/11 and a series of anthrax bio-warfare attacks, the United States Postal Service began running an advertisement featuring an abridged version of Carly Simon's "Let The River Run". We are currently in the midst of a crisis that has taken far more lives and poses a greater threat to our nation than Islamic terrorism ever did.
Let the masks come off
Let all the people show their faces
Come, it's time to breathe again
Were asking, now we're taking
Patience breaking, tired of suffocating
They've burdened us with fear, afraid of one another
Gotta stop it now before we smother
Let the masks come off
Let common sense reclaim our nation
Desire for some oxygen
Unfortunately, the original Post Office video seems to have disappeared from youtube. It was quite inspiring at the time.
