Parody Song Title:

"F..k The World"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

quite simply - the original was written, performed and bought for a genuine situation, by people wanting to help in any way (yes, we did get sick of hearing it continually but it WAS FOR A GOOD CAUSE!)this latest pap is only to get themselves a bit of exposure and credence with the public - all the infighting about who sings where? selfish prats I say!b.t.w.? what was wrong with creating a new ORIGINAL SONG? sticking a bit of rap in don't count people!
it's christmas time
there's no need to miss the number one
for this charity song
we'll get in line and warble unashamed
and in our greedy brains
we'll see a pot of cash
thrown at us all here
at christmas time

but I'm gonna fight
fight for Bono's lines
don't want the chorus
'cos you don't get seen in that scrum
there's a whole new world of kiddies
chucking money at this good cause
and I haven't had a number one
at all this year
and this song is guaranteed
to blow the rest away
well thank god, we don't need to write our own lyrics this year!

fuff the world
let us get some moolah in
fuff the world do they know how selfish this all is?

there won't be an original song this christmas time
the nearest is this hash-up of a classic
well nothing really matters
'cept photoshoots and the video
don't they know how selfish we all are?!

fuff the world
let us get some interviews done
fuff the world
do they know who the hell we are?

here's to you (letting us rip this song off)
here's to you (not wanting something original)
don't you know we're guaranteed a hit!

fuff the world
we're gonna get a number one!

**repeat to fade**

background babble;
right I'm off to the Ivy - anyone fancy sushi?
anyone seen my von dutch bag?
god singing a song is sooo hard
did you hear Bono sing? not very good is he? a bit old to be here anyway, if you ask me
midge who?
didn't that irish bloke sing this years ago? errr fergal sharkey??

Band Aid 20? What is that?
Also, TOS is called "Do they know it's christmas." I'm sick & tired of having to everyone's research.

Shoulda called it "[Bleep] the World"! I haven't heard the new version, but I did hear that Bono was the only participant from the original joining in this time. I'll feed you a 454.

Very good, especially with the paragraph in front explaining it all. Some genuine laughs from you. 4-5-5. The parodist Offender could learn some lessons from you--check out his bitter, unfunny work. "To Hell With Them (Band Aid)" Parody by Offender http://www.amiright.com/parody/80s/bandaid3.shtml

Matthew Wright on 'The Wright Stuff' (England's Channel 5) quoted one of Busted saying that they read the leaflet 'in the back of the car and it looks bad'. He also couldn't take seriously Rachel Stevens telling us to give when she regularly buys Prada. Joss Stone got on my threepenny bits, referring to Sir Bob Geldof as 'Bob Gandalf' in the article the Mirror did to promote it too.

hi peeps! not too sure how worldwide this is viewed but for all you foreigners out there, here is a list of the vocalists on the new (ha!) band aid 20 single - 20 because it is the 20th anniversary of the original. I know a fun game! let's see how many "famous" singers the Americans, Germans, Italians etc. actually recognise! madonna and Bono and especially Bob geldof don't count....hehehe!! oh, note to americans and Eminem; it took us AGES to get rid of Dido - thanks for bringing her back!...NOT!!!

Amazingly enough, I've never actually heard the tune for this. Not a bad parody, but I should mention these songs were all for a bad cause last time, too: convincing people they were "doing something" for starving people by sending food to sit and rot on the docks while those people continued to starve. It's a pity we didn't have things like this website to help cut those celebrities down to size last time.

WTF?!!?!?!? u on about. This song was also to help the needy. Why don't you try not to be so greedy and actually recoqnise people for helping with poverty. What didi you do?
