I respect your opinions of Avril and everything, but I don't appreciate Cerise making me seem inferior because my opinion differs from hers.

I'm not trying to make Avril seem inferior either, this is for humour only, I actually don't mind her music, and that's what the music industry is supposed to be about anyway.

Sarah, Good parody. I don't usually look in on the parodies of the current young artists, but I actually do own Avril Lavigne's CD and it's not bad. It doesn't matter to me one way of the other if she's "punk" or not to me, the music is catchy and has a good sound. The stuff that "The Matrix" team had a hand in works for Lavigne and I don't care if she wrote 100% of everything or not. Actually she ought to include some cover songs in her future albums, she has a great voice and might do some interesting interpretations, I think what confuses and enrages the "anti-Avril" crowd is that she seems to have been pretty much sheltered growing up, wasn't all the bummed about it and her "rebellion" doesn't really involve any serious grievances. Now the posing thing, hmmm...well, yeah, probably. But I find it less revolting than the "total bimbo slut" stance of some of the others. Anyway, good work. Say what ya think & hang in there.
