Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

FYI; This is *not* supposed to be funny, let's just assume though, for aminute that this song is about Carly Patterson (Gold medalist gymnast in Athens, Summer Olympics, 2004) and some crazy dude gymnast named Tyler (Totally fictional idiot I made up and named off the top of my head),OK?
Carly's just a girl
Tyler's nothin' but a boy
Can I make it any more obvious?

Met in gym
On Carly's first day
What more can I say?

He fell in love with her
But he could never tell
Secretly, she had fallen in love as well

But Tyler's big sister
Just rolled her eyes
And made it clear that Carly was despised

She was tumbler gurl
He said, "I'm so in love with you, gurl"
But she just turned her back
Didn't want him, a boy with no tact
And she never came back to Earth

2 years from now
He sits at home
Reading Harry Potter
He's all alone

Turns on TV
Guess what he sees?
Carly's flippin' and tumblin' on NBC

He IMs his friends
They say she's in the Olympics
And they've all got plans to fly to Athens

He tags along
Sits in the crowd
And looks at the girl
Who turned him down

She was a tumbler gurl
He said, "I'm in love with you, gurl,"
But he just wasn't good enough for her
Now she a Olympian
Doing everything without him
Just to show him
What she's worth

Sorry, Ty, but you missed out
She's in my hands
That girl's mine now

We are more than just good friends
This is how the story ends

Too bad you didn't look to find
Find the girl who was totally outta her mind
More than a girl, quiet and shy
I see the heart and soul on the inside

I'mn just a boy
And she's just a girl
Can I make it any more obvious?

She is my love
Haven't you heard?
That we live in each other's worlds

I'm with the tumbler gurl
I'm so in love with that gurl
I'll be with her after the show
We'll be at a studio
Singing a song she wrote
About the she used to know
1) I am a girl and I am NOT a lesbian, I wrote this from a boy's point of view to make it make sense. 2) Yes, I know it's a little lame, but it's only my fourth, one of which got rejected.

.... I sound like a lesbian if I write something about love from a boy's perspective?
