I like watching TV shows
But I turn on Nick and then I go
"Didn't they show this episode yesterday? And now today??"
It's about a sponge under the sea
Not really the type of show for me
Which was just fine when the show first aired, I didn't care
But it's shown everyday
Every single day
The same episodes
Of this stupid show
And now, oh it seems
There's nothing else on the TV

Tell me why'd they have to go and make the show so overrated?
They act as if it was the only show on the network that ever made it
It's not that special
Every hour of the day, the show's always played
It's the same episodes repeated and repeated
You just ask a person what their favorite cartoon is and guess what they say
Spongebob.

When I walk in any store
It's just all Spongebob-galore
This thing gets too much publicity, can't you see?
Does anyone listening have a plan
To get this show put in the can?
I don't, but if anyone could offer one, it'd sure be fun
It's all just a mess

I will laugh cause it's bad, everyone will be sad, and then Nick will throw all the episodes in the trash can
I mean, how many more re-runs can anybody take of this?
