The Lyrics

This parody is about crossovers in Dance Dance Revolution. A crossover is a pattern of DDR steps that makes the player turn if they alternate feet. P.R.O=Pluto Relinquish Oni, one of the most difficult DDR songs LDR= a step pattern, Left Down Right
This time I realize
I won’t be passing
this too hard song

My feet can't go
Across the dance pad
Like in P.R.O.*
That song’s BPM
Is four hundred
It is really hard
I double step but
I fail, I fail

I can never find the way
Or the right way to step
I guess I just didn't know how
You see, the faster the song is
The more difficult they are
I guess I'll have to spell it out

I Hate C R O S S O V E R S
Every step, every song, every stream
I Hate C R O S S O V E R S
Every step, every song, every stream

Can’t Step the beat
In Rhythm and Police
Exotic Ethnic’s tough
Arrabiata’s rough
They’re really hard
patterns like LDR
When they appear
I fail, I fail

I can never find the way
Or the right way to step
I guess I just didn't know how
You see, the faster the song is
The more difficult they are
I guess I'll have to spell it out

I Hate C R O S S O V E R S
Every step, every song, every stream
I Hate C R O S S O V E R S
Every step, every song, every stream

I can’t stop failing PSMO at the last death run (3x)

It’s so hard (2x)

I Hate C R O S S O V E R S
Every step, every song, every stream
I Hate C R O S S O V E R S
Every step, every song, every stream

Crossovers are very hard to learn. It took me a while, and I still sometimes double-step to hit some faster ones. Exotic Ethnic is probably my least-favorite DDR song to play due to its stamina-draining crossovers. What really gets me, though, is crossovers that require you to face backward to the screen, as in a L/D/R/U/L crossover. The "Speed Rave!" section of Red Zone on Heavy sometimes gets me there.

But enough ranting about 'em, this was a great parody. Nice to see I'm not the only DDR fanatic here. 555
