I won't cry for Clark
I think Madonna is too "out of it" for her appraisal to have any weight. Years ago she performed in Tel Aviv and said to her Israeli audience that she considered Tel Aviv their "holy city." (!!) I told this to someone I knew who was born in Israel, and she reacted with a derisive chuckle.
Not to mention the fact that she's been living in England and using a really awful sounding accent for awhile now. What does she care about American politics? Let her stay over there, we don't want her back (though from what I've read, the British don't care for her anymore than we do).
