Story about this misheard lyric by: Ronnda Z. My son is 18 months, but has adored this show above all others since he was born. We keep PBS on in the mornings as background for him to have something to listen to other than my typing, as I work from home. Ever since I began listening to this show in the background, I have been convinced that they say 'die', and have insisted to all of my friends that this is so. (Sadly, these are the things new parents discuss at dinner parties.) Now I'm humbled and am wrong and I apologize and I offer this entry as my penance. It sounds like 'die,' I swear! |
