Story about this misheard lyric by: Gonk This song has been one of my songs of the summer, but I found the shout-a-long chorus incomprehensible. I had to look up the lyrics on a website, because I had no clue what they were on about. The View (from Dundee) wrote the lyrics in a Scottish slang for the name of the song: 'Astedwae, Littlae, Ejaysdae' It turns out to be 'Wasted little D.J's' in English terms we can all understand. Stupidly enough, being English, I thought the chorus was about celebrating Italy's 2006 World Cup win by swigging Jack Daniel's!' |
