"Lights Out (Live)"
The Funny Lyrics:
Lights out, lights out, Chicago! Hold on tight 'til the end!
Why They're Funny:
When Phil Moog stampeded into the chorus of the classic 'Lights Out,' belting out a line forever etched on 'Strangers,' the crowd erupted as if they had simultaneously climaxed . . these were no longer 'strangers,' these were old friends. I liked that line!

Super Long Pop Songs:

"Flying" Length: 26:30
This album is distinctive for its title track, which is the longest song the band ever recorded. The track finishes with a backmasked reading from Rudyard Kipling's Gunga Din: "Tho' I've belted you an' flayed you, By the livin' God that made you, You're a better man than I am, Gunga Din!" and a slowed phrase "Yes we know, it's all been done before before before".

"Rock Bottom" Length: 11:02
The version from their 1978 live album 'Strangers In The Night' contains one of the most mind- boggling, face- melting guitar solos ever- Michael Schenker at his hyperkinetic best. There just haven't been too many axe- slingers who can pull off a six- minute- plus solo without getting boring or repetitive, and this album is about as good as '70s hard rock ever got.
