Story about this misheard lyric by: Zorgirl

I loved this song. I heard it on the radio and I would sing along. However, to me it meant that she did something great to be able to see him (which was next spring). What I didn't get was what was up with the whole story about her being famous and all. I figured she was somebody who did something big to see him but now she was gone and he wished he never had seen her. I also figured she was some big model and star. Something had gone on and now he could no longer see her and he was mad. He now had to see her picture on a magazine and all this stuff, which made him wish he never had known her. I was trying to find the song with the lyrics I knew (I didn't know the song name or artist). Some how I found it and figured out my mistake. So I came here to show my mistake.

Song Parody Fragments:

"American Psycho"
Better Lyrics:
What's the problem with the game today?
(scorer like you)
No matter where I turn I can't escape
Your goalie face
Don't wanna listen to the radio
(cuz they all know)
I stick around just to hear
He shoots he scores!
Original Lyrics:
What's the problem with the human race?
(someone like you)
No matter where I turn I can't escape
Your double-face
Don't wanna listen to the radio
(cuz they all know)
I stick around just to hear
I told you so
