I distinctly remember pondering both of the above 'mishearings' and thinking how easily it could sound that way. Of course, since neither fits the spirit of the song, one would right away question such a mishearing. But since those and the real lyrics sound so nearly the same, it's hardly surprising that those mishearings popped into my mind at times with humorous effects.
