I was 12, and FM was not so great in the late 1960s, and radio speakers left a bit to be desired. I heard the song only from my brother having recorded it from the FM broadcast. I listened to it over and over (it was the only cassette I possessed at the time) and never could understand Abergavenny. So at 12, I did my best!!
