Story about this misheard lyric by: Laura At first, I thought the 3rd line was "Sharence is the bulldog" but I decided that this would be too strange. Then I listened again to the song and heard "butler". I got following picture: a very rich lady (Daisy) lived in her very big house. She had many many boyfriends but "she was never happy..." and that she needs "one to make her happy". I thought: "Maybe she was fed up with all the rich boys who can't make her happy. And the mention of the butler means that HE was the one who could make her happy........" |
