Have you ever had an argument with someone you've worked with?" Minaj said sfter repeated questions about her reported fued with Carey. "This was sort of one-sided." said Carey, wearing a queenly smile. "No, it wasn't," snapped Minaj. Fox network executive Mike Darnell was asked if the clash is authentic. He said there was a lot of musical passion in the group of judges which also includes Keith Urban and Randy Jackson. "The fighting is what it is," Carey said. "This is 'American Idol'. ""American Idol" Pop Diva Tiff"
A video leaked by TMZ shows a full-blown pop diva showdown between judges Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj on the set of "American Idol". The heated argument derailed auditions in Charlotte, NC. The argument started over a contestant's performance with Minaj calling Mariah "disrespectful" to which the pop diva called Minaj a "Bitch". Minaj went on to threaten Carey saying she was going to "knock her out". Poor Keith Urban was trapped between the two and with help from Randy Jackson and producers tried to calm things down. Tensions remain high as Carey was against the signing of Minaj from the beginning. "American Idol" returns in January 2013.
