Band Name Origins:

  • Guitarist and band founder George Lynch's outfit. Name offered up by fellow bandmate and drummer Mick Brown. They thought using George's name would be best for the group. FYI: played under the band moniker Gay Black Nazi Bikers for Christ when they did surprise small venue gigs. George said, "We had to come up with an alias because back then we had a bigger name and a bigger following. The '80's music was still around so we had to come up with an alias or too many people would have shown up. We were warming up, it was fun." Submitted by: Phil
