Story about this misheard lyric by: Rock Maninoff

This lyric is obviously different from the original Cranberries song, which said "...and their guns" in the second sentence. The Bad Wolves also changed the lyric "It's the same old theme since 1916" to "It's the same old theme in 2016". Personally, I don't like the changes.

Dated Song Lyrics:

"Zombie"
The Dated Lyrics:
It's the same old theme,
in two thousand eighteen.
Why They're Dated:
It's not two thousand eighteen anymore. (The original version by The Cranberries doesn't count as their version says "It's the same old theme since nineteen-sixteen.)
