"Riding After Storm"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Riding after storm,
riding back to form.
Out of the house this morn;
from the sky clouds are blown.
There’s no fog; the sun has shone;
no more reason to groan.
Riding after storm.

The aquifer on the road
has dried up, so it’s time I rode.
I’m gonna have my way
and pedal today.
I’ll be happy on a ride
because the asphalt’s dried.
Acridness is stowed.

World last month was sopping land;
surely I was hopping mad.
A tummy-expand;
grub-grub wasn’t banned.
I couldn’t ride with friends,
so, time for gut extends.
Gut was getting grand. GRAND.

Riding after storm,
riding in the morn.
No time for dryness mourns;
gotta quell belt that’s grown.
Was a hog, stuck in my home;
now I’ll eat-cease; atone…
fries, fie! Stop popcorn!

Drying roads this morn,
riding after storm,
eyeing fields of corn
shy from buttered corn
fie on fries and porn,
riding back to form.
